SISLT Lunch Attendance Procedures
1) As of October,
2010 meetings are to be pre-paid quarterly, at a cost of $90.00 per
quarter. Payable at or before the first meeting of the quarter.
2) Members
may pay for as many quarters as they wish at one time, up to one year in
advance. If the lunch price goes up, members will be billed for the
difference.
3) The
$90.00, paid by either check or cash, will cover the first 9 meetings
attended in that quarter. After 9 meetings are attended in any
quarter, the 10th, 11th, 12th or 13th meetings of the quarter will be paid by
cash or check. (Credit card payments cost SISLT at least 3.5%, so it is
not an option.)
4) Upon
receipt of payment, a "Quarterly Meeting Card" will be
issued for each member, which will be kept by the attendance committee.
Each card will expire at the end of that quarter.
5) Each
week the cards are displayed at the door. Each member picks up her card
and drops it into the basket at the attendance table. The attendance
committee marks the card for the lunch used, marks the attendance sheet, and
returns the card to the holder for the next meeting.
6) Guests
and life members pay exactly as they did before with the exception of not
using vouchers. (Members may NOT use their quarterly meeting card to
pay for guests, as this defeats the purpose of the
pre-payment system.)
7) Special
circumstances (hardship, members living out-of-town, etc.) will be considered
on a case by case basis.
